Welcome to the coast

A whole shore to wander

Malpe is the beach town of Udupi — fishing harbour, island ferries and a long golden shore — while Udupi itself is famous for its 13th-century Krishna temple and the cuisine that carries its name. The villa sits in the middle of it all, three minutes from the sand.

When to visit

The coast is loveliest October to February

October to February brings calm seas and clear skies — ideal for the islands and the beach. The monsoon (June–September) is dramatic and green, though island ferries pause when the sea is rough. Summers stay warm; mornings and evenings by the water are always the best part of the day.
